making any content standard insurance policies home in the UK to pay, etc. CD's, DVD's?
I try to get secure an appointment online and find that none of the companies I looked that day include CD, DVD playback, etc. under a household contents policy. It appears that considered too risky. I have a lot of CDs and rebuild my collection would be virtually impossible and very costly. any advice / help would be appreciated.
I do not know any company that refuses to cover a collection of this kind. They would not be covered by a source host content type, but you can add the collection as an extra and pay an additional premium for the cover. This we do with our current insurer and have done with the past also. Never had a problem for coverage, cost only a little more.
